JAMAICA | Opposition MP Natalie Neita to file lawsuit against WIndalco

KINGSTON, Jamaica, October 18, 2019 - The Member of Parliament for North Central St Catherine Natalie Neita is moving to file a lawsuit against bauxite firm West Indies Alumina Company (Windalco) on behalf of the citizens who live along banks of the Rio Cobre in her constituency after several persons have fallen ill after using water or consuming fish from the contaminated river.

JAMAICA | PNP Alarmed at increased violence against women

Kingston, Jamaica, February 19, 2019:  People’s National Party’s (PNP) Shadow Minister of Gender Affairs, Sports and Information, Ms Natalie Neita, M.P., is alarmed at the increased level of violence against women in the home and is calling on the government to introduce a programme to assist ‘at-risk’ families with coping mechanisms to lessen the frequency of domestic violence, which often results in horrific fatalities.
