GUYANA | Trinidadians assure Guyana they're are not coming to take over oil sector

GEORGETOWN,  Guyana, Ocvtobert 17, 2019 - The Energy Chamber of Trinidad and Tobago (ECTT) on Wednesday sought to dispel concerns that businesses from that twin-island Caribbean Community (CARICOM) member state are coming to Guyana to dominate the oil sector, instead saying that they are grasping business opportunities hinged on 100 years of experience and international safety standards.

GEORGETOWN, Guyana, October 17, 2019  – President David Granger Wednesday advised that will be travelling to Cuba on Saturday for a medical check-up in relation to his diagnosis of non-Hodgkin Lymphoma for which he has been receiving treatmentt in Cuba since last year.

GUYANA | ExxonMobil makes yet another oil find off the coast of Guyana

GEORGETOWN,  Guyana, Sept. 16, 2019 -  ExxonMobil has made yet another oil discovery off the coast of Guyana, adding to the several other finds that have already been made. This time its on the Stabroek Block, offshore Guyana, at the Tripletail-1 well in the Turbot area. This well is being drilled by the Tom Madden drillship.

GUYANA | Elections possible by March says Chief Elections Officer

GEORGETOWN, Guyana, September 10, 2019 - Guyana's Chief Elections Officer and (CEO) of the Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM), Keith Lowenfield, has told the seven-member Guyana Elections Commission that the earliest the machinery can be ready for general elections is next year March.
