B'dos Roman Catholic Bishop wants speedy trial for gun crimes

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados, Sept 9, CMC – Roman Catholic Bishop of Bridgetown Jason Gordon is urging Barbadian authorities to move quickly to deal with the escalating gun crimes warning that the island could become like Trinidad and Tobago and Jamaica where hundreds of people are killed annually in gun related activities.

Barbados to investigate complaint by Jamaican woman

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados, Aug 30, CMC – The Barbados Immigration Department Tuesday said it is investigating a complaint by a Jamaican national that she was mistreated by immigration officers at the Grantley Adams International Airport (GAIA) after arriving by air from Trinidad over the last weekend.
