GUYANA | ‘Oil spill’ legislation to be tabled later this year – says Jagdeo

GEORGETOWN,  Guyana, March 27, 2024 - Following tremendous criticisms over the need for the Guyana Government to hold ExxonMobile accountable in the event of an oil spill, Vice President, Bharrat Jagdeo says the government aims to introduce an oil spill  bill before the parliament dissolves for recess in August.
