CARICOM, Turkeyen, Georgetown, Guyana - Wednesday, 25 October 2023 - The Caribbean Community (CARICOM) says it has taken note of the decision of the Venezuelan National Assembly to conduct a popular referendum on defending Venezuela’s claim to the Essequibo region of Guyana.
