KINGSTON,  Jamaica, April 21, 2021 - Senator Sophia Frazer Binns, the People's National Party (PNP) Shadow Minister of Land, Environment and Climate Change is calling on the Government to rethink its plans to use existing sugar lands in Trelawny for housing. Senator Frazer Binns is adamant that food security must be central to any decision made about the use of prime agricultural lands.

GEORGETOWN, April 17, 2021 - The government of Guyana continues to be haunted by its embarrassing 'NO' vote in relation to a global call for concrete action for the elimination of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and the comprehensive implementation of and follow-up to the Durban Declaration and Programme of Action, has become a cause for much confusion.

KINGSTON,  Jamaica, April 16, 2021 - JLP leader Andrew Holness, says central Westmoreland Member of parliament and JLP member George Wright, will withdraw from the Government Parliamentary caucus, to become an independent member, in light of unresolved allegations circulating in the public domain which are causing deep concern to many Jamaicans and the Jamaica Labour Party, including its Parliamentarians.

JAMAICA | Opposition wants JLP MP George Wright to resign over alleged abuse of woman

KINGSTON, Jamaica: The Opposition Spokesperson on Justice and Gender Affairs, Senator Donna Scott Mottley, is calling on the Jamaica Constabulary Force to bring all resources at its disposal to immediately investigate Member of Parliament of Central Westmoreland, George Wright, who was captured in an April 6, 2021 video recording, allegedly, repeatedly striking an unidentified woman.
