CARICOM/CELAC did not serve Guyana’s best interest- reinforcing 1899 Arbitral Award and ICJ’s Role

GEORGETOWN,  Guyana, December 19, 2023 -Trades Unionist and columnist Lincoln Lewis is of the opinion that last week's Argyle Summit which brought Guyana's president Irfaan Ali together with Venezuela's president Nicolas Maduro in a face to face meeting, did not serve Guyana's best interest in reinforcing the 1899 Arbital Award and the role of the International Court of Justice as a final arbiter.
