GHANA | Repatriation of Africans in the Diaspora, a Concern
ACCRA, Ghana, November 17, 2023 - Kwadwo Agyei Yeboah, is a member of the African Continental Unity Party-ACUP and I love Africa who has expressed concern about the repatriation of Africans in the diaspora.
He is concerned that provisions are not being made for those who want to return including the provision of lands as well as the restitution of their natural and legal rights to the ownership of the African lands that they lost when their ancestors were taken away into slavery.
The following is a letter to the African Governments expressing his concerts.
Dear African governments
It is not enough to call back home the Africans who were forcefully taken away from the continent during the era of slavery because of their dollar!
If you truly consider them as part of the African community, then, you must make provisions to give them lands and their share of the African resources instead of distributing those African values to the very people who enslaved and colonized us.
These people were part of the African society; they had natural and legal rights to the ownership of the African good until they were forcefully taken away, leaving behind all that belonged to them. Time does not erase injustice, nor does it expire crime done to a people.
If you are calling them back home, then give them what belong to them! The dollar you think they have is no value nor an empowerment! The real value and empowerment is their share of the African society which they have been deprived of for several centuries, and you must give it to them.
All Africans must be empowered after centuries of disempowerment, deprivation, and stagnation. If we wish to bring back the golden days of African, then, this is the time to begin undoing the harms done to the African, restoring and empowering every African! Africa cannot be prosperous when the African everywhere is in systemic chains ⛓!
Injustice there: Injustice here! Don't just call them to come home because of their dollar, do the right thing!
