En NIAMEY, Niger, July 31, 2023 - President of the Republic of Chad, Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, today met with ousted Niger president Mohamed Bazoum in Niger’s capital, Niamey. This is the first time since the military detained him in a coup last week, that Bazoum is being seen by anyone from the outside.
