JAMAICA | Start the Reparation Conversation Now Says UWI Centre for Reparation Research

KINGSTON, March 22, 2022 - Quoting  historian Brooke Newman who said it was no secret that the history of the British royal family is intertwined with slavery, The UWI Centre for Reparation Research is using the one week visit of Britain’s Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton to Jamaica, to support the call for Britain and the royal family to engage in a reparatory justice conversation with the people of Jamaica.
