JAMAICA | The States Of Emergency Represent failure by Gov't to control Crime says Bunting

KINGSTON, Jamaica, Nov. 14, 2021` - : The Opposition Peoples National Party says it  is deeply concerned that the Government has advised the Governor-General to declare a State of Emergency (SOE) in seven police divisions, even though the country is still waiting to hear the outcome of the Government’s appeal against the Court’s ruling in Everton Douglas et al vs. the Ministry of National Security, the Commissioner of Police and the Attorney-General.
