MONTEGO BAY, Jamaica, March 11, 2026 - There is an urgent need to draw a clear distinction between Rastafari and reggae music. While the two are historically connected, they are not the same thing. Reggae became a powerful musical vehicle through which elements of Rastafari philosophy reached the wider world.
